INDICATION
Setroken is effective in the prevention of nausea and voming associated with;

  1. Highly emetogenic cancer chemotherapy
  2. Cytotoxic radiotherapy
  3. Gastroenteritis and indigestion
  4. Prevention of postoperative nausea and vomiting
  5. Drug-induced nausea and vomiting

Description

Setroken (Ondansetron) is a selective 5-HT 3 receptor antagonist. It binds to 5-HT 3 receptors both in the periphery and in the CNS with primary effects in GI tract. It has no effect on dopamine receptors and therefore does not cause extrapyramidal symptoms.
